Speeding up computer? Empty Speeding up computer?

Post by Ilkzz Fri 8 May - 22:18

How can I do this? I want to speed up my computer, not buy buying new parts, but through settings etc.

I know of disk defrag and disk cleanup. Is there any other things I could do. Thanks.

This may help a bit, if your using windows XP, you can change all the graphics. At the moment there probably all hi tech. You can change tell to all be very plain. This will speed up ur computer a bit. Also delete files and programmes you dont use. And also your history/cookies on internet explorer.

Control Panel > Display > Appearance > Windows and Buttons (switch to Windows Classic style). It may look very boring, but it also may speed up your computer.
